"Mmmmmmmm!!!! It smells GREAT in here!""Someone is making something yummy!"
"Where'd that wonderful smell come from?"
These are actual comments I have gotten from people about my scent- and you can too! With Bath & Body Works Temptations Cinnamon Bun Heaven lotion on, I rarely do not get fantastic compliments about the way I smell. My best friend once stated that it smelled like there were cookies baking in her car, when I gave her a whiff of my arm she begged me to tell her what I was wearing.
Availability:
This has got to be the only con to my favorite lotion. It is available exclusively through Bath and Body works during the fall and Christmas season. It has come around every year for the past few, but I know next year I will definitely stock up as I am running out and hate not having it! I did find the lotion in a local Bath and Body outlet store, however I was extremely dissapointed when I got my "stocked up pile" home and discovered there were subtle differences in the ingredients and my new version has a musky undertone that I do not care for in the least. I now have bottles of this lotion that I will not use. Please see the differences in the ingredients section.
Using this lotion:
At just $8.00 for 10 fl. ounces, this lotion is a steal! The texture of this lotion is perfect and I wouldn't change a thing about that! I have used several, several lotions as I prefer gaining my scent from them rather than perfumes and I have seen many that are too thick, or too thin. This lotion is great and goes on smooth. I use it all over my body. I'll even let you in on my own personal little secret- that GUARANTEES you will have complete strangers begging you to tell them what you are wearing. I have always used a combo of the Cinnamon Bun Heaven with Bath and Body Works other Temptation lotion- Pecan Passion. Mixing the two of these lotions creates what is, in my opinion, the PERFECT aroma and always leaves my husband drooling and begging to get a bite. *;-)
Ingredients:
Water (Aqua, Eau), Glycerin, Petroleum, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Fragrance (Parfum), Ceteareth-20, (*NOTE---the following italisized ingredients are found in a different order for the version of this lotion that I do not care for- to get the best version, make sure the next ingredient in order is:) Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract (meal rather than kernel in bad version)Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carbomer, Propylene Glycol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide (not found in bad version), Methylparaben,Benzyl Alcohol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Propylparaben, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal, Limonene (only found in bad version), Coumarin (only in good version), (These are in the bad version only: Eugenol, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Linaloo,) Yellow 6, Yellow 5, Red 40, Red 33, Blue 1
Whew! I hope that made sense! Basically, the subtle differences in the amount of ingredients and the slight differences make this lotion a brand I either LOVE or HATE. I am very thankful my first experience with this lotion was with my original version or I would have never used the stuff again.
